What does the Hostaway integration do?
guideMe is not a PMS, and doesn't try to replace one. Hostaway keeps your calendar, your channels and your messages. guideMe connects to it to read your listings and your reservations, then gives each booking its own guide link.
You paste a single link into your Hostaway message templates. Hostaway personalises it for every reservation, so each guest opens a guide that greets them by name, shows their dates and, if you turn it on, asks what time they'll arrive.

Frequently asked questions
Is guideMe a PMS?+
No. guideMe is a guest guide. It connects to Hostaway, your PMS, to read your listings and reservations, and gives each booking its own guide link. Your bookings, calendar and messages stay in Hostaway.
What do I need to connect Hostaway?+
Your Hostaway account ID and an API key, both found in Hostaway under Settings, then API. Paste them into guideMe and your listings appear, ready to link.
How often are reservations synced?+
Automatically every 15 to 20 minutes. You can also sync by hand at any time, and set up an optional Hostaway webhook for real-time updates.
How do guests receive their guide?+
Paste one link into your Hostaway message templates: https://app.guide-me.ai/g/{{hostaway_reservation_id}}. Hostaway fills in each reservation, so every guest gets a personal link.
Is the Hostaway integration included in the free plan?+
Yes. The integration is available on every plan, including your free first guide. It's currently in beta.
