Bad house rules are vague ('be respectful'). Good house rules are specific, friendly, and protect both you and your guests. Here are 12 you can adapt.

Out of respect for our neighbours, quiet hours are 10pm – 8am. Music can stay on indoors at low volume.

Maximum guests

Smoking

This is a non-smoking property. Smoking on the balcony is fine — please use the ashtray provided.

Pets

Heating & AC

Please switch off heating/AC when you open the windows or leave the apartment for the day.

Shoes

Italian custom — please remove shoes at the door. Slippers are provided in the wardrobe.

Damages

Lost keys

Lost or unreturned keys/fobs incur a {X}€ fee to recut and re-secure the lock.

Trash

Bins are emptied on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please leave bags in the back courtyard the night before.
